Like an electrocardiogram (EKG) which tests heart function, Diopsys electrophysiology tests work by evaluating how the cells within your vision system are functioning. Eye disease disrupts that function as cells become unhealthy. By catching this dysfunction before the cells die, we can prescribe treatment to make the cells healthy again.

Additionally, we can use these tests to help determine if your treatment is working. These types of scans help detect dysfunction early, track disease progression, and tailor treatment using objective results of visual function.
